Sincere apologies to my readers - both of them (you know who you are) - for the unexpected Sabbatical.
I've been in a tangential sort-of frame of mind lately. One that fits in neatly with this completely plausible argument "program or be programmed" by Douglas Rushkoff.
N.B: To my valued readers, I am afraid the blogwriting-Sabbath isn't quiet over. Sorry again.

starting in 1938, but from 1964 until he died in 1996, he published
